Who is the Coach in your life who is effectively using sports to change lives? Who is the Coach who is underappreciated, and you want the world to know how fantastic he/she is? We have the perfect way for you to honor that Coach.
For the 4th consecutive year, this spring Community for Coaches will be again be honoring 12 finalists for Metro KC Coach of the Year.
From now until March 18th, you can visit our website (linked here) and nominate your favorite Coach. A couple minutes of your time is all it takes to let this Coach know that the effort they make to impact young people and families in a positive way is recognized and appreciated.
On April 30th, CFC will announce the 12 finalists, (3 females and 3 males from each side of our state line), and each finalist will be honored at our recognition ceremony at KC’s Grand Street Cafe on Sunday April 30th.
Those who have been honored in the past include Coaches from all levels – from the youngest youth levels through high school and college. As an organization, CFC is committed to training and supporting Coaches who Coach With Purpose and are intentional about sports as a means to develop physically, emotionally and spiritually healthy young people. The Coach of the Year program is our best attempt to honor those who are Coaching With Purpose and embodying what we believe sport and coaching to be all about.
