OUR MISSION

To help coaches develop and successfully live out a transformational purpose, thus becoming agents of eternal change in the lives of those whom they influence.

The foundational premise of CFC is that there is no other group of people who has the position and platform from which to impact lives of young people quite like athletic coaches.

Every coach has the opportunity to serve as an agent of eternal change in the lives of his/her athletes. Coaches ministry pioneer Rod Olson writes, “Kids might not listen to their parents or teachers, but they will listen to their coach.

What are coaches doing with that type of influence? And, just as importantly, who is coaching these coaches?  That is what Community for Coaches is all about.

WHAT DOES COMMUNITY FOR COACHES MEAN?

The name “Community for Coaches” has an intentional double meaning.

First, as CFC serves to help coaches develop and live out their transformational purpose in the lives of those whom they influence, we believe that process is going to happen most successfully in the context of community.  Coaches who engage with CFC become part of a dynamic community.  The fact is, many coaches feel isolated and alone, and we desire to provide them with a place to connect with others who understand the unique challenges they face each day.

The second component of the CFC name relates to the fact that in order for this ministry to become everything it can in the lives of coaches and those whom they influence, it will take people from all over our community rallying behind these women and men, supporting them and the invaluable work they do in the lives of our young people.

Community for Coaches is a place for coaches to connect and belong, as well as a place for all people to provide encouragement and support for some of the most influential people in the world.
